Dickey Bub Farm & Home is a family owned business that was opened February 27, 1997, in Union, MO. Steve felt at the time that a store that combined hardware supplies, farm supplies, and clothing would fill a need in the Union area. We carry a wide variety of products that most individuals would not expect to see inside a farm & home center. In addition to the hardware, farm and clothing, we also carry a wide selection of lawn & garden supplies, power equipment, automotive supplies, heating and grilling units, giftware items and we have a full service repair center. Over the years we have added hundreds of new products and everyday we are evaluating new products to carry to meet our customer’s many needs.

Steve and his family have a long history in retail. Steve’s mother, Margaret, opened a family clothing store 50 years ago in Sullivan. It is out of this partnership with her sister-in-law, Letha Bub, that the store got its name Dickey Bub Shop. About 15 years ago, Steve took another chance and opened another clothing store that catered to those who worked and played outdoors. With a wide selection of hunting and work boots, Carhartt rugged outdoor clothing, and camouflage clothing this quickly became a favorite for many in the area or those traveling through Sullivan

In 1997, Steve established Dickey Bub Farm and Home in Union thus starting a great period of growth for the company. He felt at the time that a store that combined hardware supplies, farm supplies, and clothing would fill a need in the Franklin County area.

Over the years we have added thousands of new products and every day we are evaluating new products to carry to meet our customer’s many needs. Since 1997 DBFH has expanded to 2 other locations in Potosi and Eureka and now have a staff of 75 plus employees.

Now Dickey Bub is online! With their new online store, dickeybub.net, Dickey Bub will be able to continue to provide for their potential customers for generations to come.

Over the last 50 plus years Dickey Bub which started as a small family owned clothing store has grown to be in 4 locations and employ 3 generations of the Dickey Family. They have expanded and changed over the years to be more than a clothing store. DBFH is constantly trying to meet the needs of our customers and always looking to offer them value for the products they need every day.
