Dickey Bub Farm & Home - Eureka - Store Info

Since 1955, the Dickey family has been serving the people of east-central Missouri, and it all started with a small clothing store in Sullivan.

On June 3, 1955, Steve Dickey’s mother, Margaret, opened a family clothing store in Sullivan with her sister-in-law, Letha Bub. Together they gave it the name that’s still on our sign today: the Dickey Bub Shop.

Years later, Steve took a chance of his own and opened a clothing store built for people who work and play outdoors. With hunting and work boots, rugged Carhartt workwear, and camouflage, it quickly became a favorite for locals and travelers passing through Sullivan.

On February 27, 1997, Steve opened Dickey Bub Farm & Home in Union. His idea was simple: Franklin County needed one place where you could find hardware, farm supplies, and clothing under the same roof. That idea took off. Today we have five locations in Union, Potosi, Eureka, Rolla, and Ironton, a team of more than 175 employees, and three generations of the Dickey family still working in the business.

Today, the next generation is carrying that vision forward. Steve’s daughter, Carrie, serves as Chief Operating Officer, overseeing merchandising, buying, and operations across all five stores. She and her husband, John Rosenbaum, also own and operate our Rolla location. Whether you’re talking to a family member or one of our longtime team members, you’re dealing with people who know this business and care about getting it right for you.

Walk into any of our stores and you’ll find a lot more than most people expect from a farm and home center: lawn and garden supplies, power equipment, automotive supplies, heating and grilling, giftware, and a full-service repair center, alongside the hardware, farm, and clothing that got us started. We’re adding new products every day to keep up with what our customers need, and you can now shop with us anytime at dickeybub.net.

We’ve grown a lot since that first little shop in Sullivan, but what drives us hasn’t changed: giving our neighbors real value on the things they use every day. Thanks for being part of our story.
